Submit Survey Results Online

1. Load the Metrowild Interactive Map.
   
   
2. Enter the plot ID in the "Locate Plot with ID" input box.
   
   The input box is located in the right frame of the IMS site. This will select the plot in the background and display the Plot information in the bottom frame. If you are zoomed in, the map will not refresh. In the bottom IMS frame, click the number 1 under the "Rec" table cell. This will zoom to the survey plot with a nice fit on the map.
   
   
3. Activate the "" tool.
   
   If you made an endangered species sighting, click within the survey area on the sighting location as accuratly as possible. These coordinates will be stored for later use in the Sighting Report Submission.
   
   If you did not sight any endangered species and only have to submit a Survey Summary Data Sheet, click within the survey area. The coordinates will be stored, but will not be linked to the Survey Summary.
   
   In either case, the link "Submit Data Online" will appear in the right frame.
   
   
4. Click the "Submit Data Online" Link
   
   This link will bring you to a login screen. Login to initiate the submission process. Further directions will appear in the "Task List" on the left panel of the Submission Page.
